The Glass-SFR inspex system provides pointwise measurements of the Spatial Frequency Response (SFR) of the windshield in the area of the ADAS camera. For that, images of illuminated targets are recorded to quantify the optical influence of the windshield on the ADAS image quality. The high-resolution camera-based system is either placed at a fixed position and used with multiple SFR targets to allow an analysis of different viewing angles through the windshield to be analyzed. Or it can be attached to a scanning system (translation stage or robot) for evaluating the effects of black print areas, heating wires, or glass quality.

StrainMaster systems from LaVision are optical measuring instruments for shape, strain and deformation analysis of solid bodies using digital image correlation (DIC). The special advantage compared to conventional methods, such as strain gauges, is the contactless measurement and the freedom to define the area of interest to be evaluated on the sample after the experiment. The easy-to-install design allows mobile use, e. g. in case of a temporary experimental set-up or when permanent installation is not possible due to space constraints.
